A day of prevention, solidarity and nature<\/strong><\/p>\n

On May 11, 2025, the community of Genoni will be tinged pink for a day dedicated to prevention, outreach, and land appreciation.<\/p>\n

Genoni in Pink<\/strong> is an event open to all, combining wellness, awareness and social engagement through a walk and ride on the Giara, convivial moments and a scientific conference.<\/p>\n

PROGRAM OF THE DAY<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Morning – Nature and movement on the Giara di Genoni<\/strong><\/h4>\n

9 a.m. – 1 p.m. – <\/strong>Free breast ultrasound and breast examinations with palpation teaching. Reserved for resident women between the ages of 18 and 40, with Balzano Antonella and Mascia Monica – At the Community Center.<\/a><\/strong>, organized by Komunque Donne ODV<\/strong> Association – Info and reservations: + 39 379 16 84 731<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Walking tour<\/h3>\n

8:00 a.m. – Meeting and registration<\/strong> walk<\/strong>
\nReception at the Genoni Sports Center Peppi Locci<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Welcome coffee and distribution of pink T-shirts to all participants. The procession will go through the town center to the Social Center on Rome Street. <\/p>\n

9:00 a.m. – Departure of the excursions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Walking Route<\/strong>
\nTransfer by bus to the starting point at the Giara parking lot.
\nWalk of about 8 km, among ancient paths, breathtaking scenery and close encounters with the Giara’s wild horses. The route, suitable for all ages, includes a short uphill section (400 m with a 10 percent gradient) and culminates at the scenic viewpoint of Zeppara Manna. <\/p>\n

Horseback riding<\/h3>\n

Itinerary of about 16 km, led by local horsemen and amazons, with veterinary assistance and farrier in tow. An immersive experience to discover the natural heritage of the Giara. <\/p>\n

1:00 p.m. – Social lunch: taste, sharing and solidarity<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Return to the Genoni Peppi Locci Sports Center<\/a><\/strong> for a convivial time of tradition, solidarity and good food.
\nThe luncheon will be an opportunity to get together, refresh and make a concrete contribution to an important cause.<\/p>\n
